Yard Tower is temporarily offline

What is going on?

Two serious vulnerabilities were found in PHP. PHP is a programming language used by a large share of all websites and web applications worldwide, including Yard Tower. Information about the vulnerability was already circulating before the update was ready. That is why many organisations switched off their services for a while, from news sites and webshops to government services.

We made the same choice. Yard Tower went offline as a precaution, so we did not take any risk during the period when no update was available yet. It is an annoying measure, but we think it is the sensible one.

Is your data safe?

We have no indication that anyone gained access to the data in Yard Tower. That is exactly why we switched the service off straight away: there was no window in which the vulnerability could be abused on our systems. Dutch and American cyber security organisations also report that they have not seen active abuse of this vulnerability.

Your collection, photos and other data are stored safely in our secured environment and will be kept. You do not need to do anything.

What are we doing now?

The PHP Foundation has released a security update. We are installing that update and testing our systems. After that, we will bring Yard Tower back online step by step. We do this carefully, because we would rather return a little later than too soon.

When will Yard Tower be available again?

We expect to make Yard Tower available again shortly. We cannot give an exact time, because we want to check the update properly first. We will update this page as soon as there is news.
