Personal data we process
Yard Tower may process your personal data because you use Yard Tower’s services and/or because you provide these data to Yard Tower when you register on the website. Yard Tower may process the following personal data:
- Your first name and surname
- Your country of residence
- Your bank details

- Your profile photo
Why we need your data
Yard Tower processes your personal data for the following purposes:

- To be able to email you when necessary to provide our services

How long we keep your data
Yard Tower does not keep your personal data longer than is strictly necessary to achieve the purposes for which your data are collected. You may choose to delete your Yard Tower account at any time. When you do so, all your data are physically deleted. This includes all data you have entered in your Yard Tower account. Only your name and email are retained for email marketing. You can unsubscribe from this at any time via the link in the emails themselves.
Sharing with others
Yard Tower only provides your personal data to third parties when this is necessary for the performance of an agreement with you, or to comply with a legal obligation.
Mapping website visits
General visitor data are recorded on the Yard Tower website, including the IP address of your computer, the time of the request and data that your browser sends. These data are used for analyses of visit and click behaviour on the website.
Yard Tower uses this information to improve the operation of the website. These data are anonymised as far as possible and are not provided to third parties.
Matomo Analytics
Yard Tower uses Matomo Analytics to track how users use the website. The information obtained in this way, including the address of your computer (anonymised IP address), is stored in our own database. These data are not shared with third parties.
hCaptcha
We use the hCaptcha security service (hereinafter “hCaptcha”) on our website. hCaptcha is used to check whether user actions on our online service (such as submitting a login or contact form) meet our security requirements. To do this, hCaptcha analyses the behaviour of the website or mobile app visitor on the basis of various characteristics.

Location of data
Yard Tower uses web servers to store data. All your data are held within the European Union in a data centre in Munich, Germany or in Amsterdam, the Netherlands.
Security
Yard Tower takes the protection of your data seriously and takes appropriate measures to prevent misuse, loss, unauthorised access, unwanted disclosure and unlawful alteration. The Yard Tower website uses an SSL certificate to ensure that your personal data do not fall into the wrong hands. If you have reason to believe that your data are not properly secured or there are signs of misuse, or if you would like more information about the security of personal data collected by Yard Tower, please contact Yard Tower at privacy@yardtower.com.

Accessing, amending or deleting your data
You have the right to access, correct or delete your personal data. You also have the right to withdraw any consent you have given for data processing or to object to the processing of your personal data by Yard Tower, and you have the right to data portability. This means that you may submit a request to us to send the personal data we hold about you in a computer file to you or to another organisation you have named.
You may send a request for access, correction, deletion or data portability of your personal data, or a request for withdrawal of your consent or objection to the processing of your personal data, to privacy@yardtower.com.
To ensure that a request for access has been made by you, we ask you to send a copy of your identity document with the request. In this copy, please black out your photograph, MRZ (machine readable zone, the strip of numbers at the bottom of the passport), passport number and National Insurance number (or equivalent). This is to protect your privacy. We will respond to your request as soon as possible and in any case within four weeks.
